About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking friendly, energetic coaches to teach fun, beginner-level physical education and sports activities to children in Grades K–3 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. This is an in-person, part-time role with a flexible schedule, approximately 2–5 hours per week. Classes last 1–1.5 hours and are scheduled Monday through Friday between 1:00 and 5:00 PM; weekend opportunities may also be available. Compensation is listed as $18.00–$24.00 per hour in the role details and $50.00–$65.00 per hour in the compensation section.

Requirements

• Must be 19 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to complete a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Sports playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun and engaging PE and sports activities.
• Manage groups of 8–10 children.
• Set up equipment and take attendance.
• Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
• Communicate with parents and school staff.
