About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a variety of administrative, clerical, and supervisory duties in support of the school's operational needs. The School Office Manager will manage the school office, supervise office support staff, and ensure efficient and effective operations. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience with student information systems (SIS) is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a K-12 school setting.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the school office, including student registration, attendance tracking, and record-keeping.
  • Supervise and train office support staff, assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between students, parents, staff, and the community, responding to inquiries and providing information.
  • Maintain student records and ensure compliance with district policies and confidentiality requirements.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and budget, processing purchase orders and invoices.
  • Assist with scheduling, event planning, and communication for school activities.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, phone calls, and other communications.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by school administration.
