This role supports the school and its community by providing administrative and clerical support to the School Office Manager in the day-to-day operations of the school office. The position involves supporting the Principal and/or Teachers, managing student and staff attendance, performing data entry and record-keeping, maintaining school-wide communications (newsletter, calendar, website/social media), and managing office equipment and supplies. The School Office Assistant also serves as the receptionist, providing customer service to students, parents, volunteers, and staff, and handling inquiries via phone, email, and in person. Responsibilities include processing enrollment and withdrawal procedures, and coordinating with vendors and community organizations. The role requires acting as a role model of professionalism in a Catholic environment, supporting the school's philosophy, policies, and goals, and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all students. Adherence to all policies and procedures is mandatory, along with working collaboratively as part of a team and attending necessary meetings.
