About The Position

As Accelevation School of Welding Manager, you will own the performance and output of our welding academy across Ohio and Mississippi. You will ensure we consistently produce skilled, production-ready welders who meet our quality, safety, and operational standards at scale.

Requirements

Experience in welding, manufacturing, or skilled trades leadership
Strong technical knowledge of welding processes relevant to production environments
Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence others
Experience partnering with Operations, Production, and Quality teams
Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in training, workforce development, or multi-site program management is a plus
Welding certifications (e.g., CWI) are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Own the direction, consistency, and performance of the School of Welding across all locations
Ensure training output aligns to workforce planning, production demand, and quality standards
Refine and evolve welding curriculum to reflect real-world production requirements
Define and enforce welding competency standards, assessments, and progression criteria
Lead and develop instructors across locations, including coaching and performance management
Partner closely with Operations to translate shop-floor needs into training priorities
Track and improve key metrics including completion rates, weld quality, and production readiness
Drive continuous improvement across curriculum, instruction, and program delivery
