About The Position

Teach various courses in Welding. Maintain familiarity with and adhere to college policies and procedures. Provide instruction and an effective learning environment to facilitate student acquisition of the specific learning outcomes identified in the syllabi of the assigned course. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of all aspects of the Welding trade

  • Knowledge of power and hand tools related to the craft or trade
  • An associate’s degree in welding or a related field, or certifications in related fields of Welding, will be considered .
  • Additionally, a minimum of one year of experience.
  • Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead position as well as operations in CNC plasma preferred.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide training and support to users with varying technical abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient in SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead position as well as operations in CNC plasma preferred.
