About The Position

Join a multidisciplinary team to help students build the skills for a lifetime of independence! Cross Country Education is looking for a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students in developing essential fine motor and sensory skills for the 2026-2027 school year in Pittsburg, CA. Position Overview: Provide high-quality, in-person occupational therapy services to K–12 students, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living to enhance educational participation. Conduct comprehensive student evaluations and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement measurable IEP goals and tailored treatment plans. Recommend and implement assistive technology and classroom modifications to ensure an inclusive and accessible learning environment for students with diverse needs. Provide ongoing training and strategies to educators and families to support student progress and functional independence across various campus settings.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
Valid California Occupational Therapist License
Experience in pediatric or school-based setting with the flexibility to provide services across multiple school sites within the district
