School Nurse
About The Position
The School Nurse will assess the health and developmental status of pupils as part of their special education evaluation. This role involves interpreting health and developmental assessments to parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals directly concerned with the pupil. The nurse will also provide a written report of health and medical findings and offer information on community resources to pupils, parents, and others. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- A valid Registered Nurse License in California.
- Current Certification in CPR.
- Must possess a credential with a School Nurse authorization OR be eligible for a School Nurse service credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- A valid Audiometry certification
