About The Position
Manteca Unified School District is hiring a School Nurse for Lindbergh-Health Services. The district works with families and the community to provide meaningful, measurable, student-centered programs aligned to grade-level standards, with safety as a priority. It serves approximately 25,000 students across more than 30 schools in Stockton, Lathrop, Manteca, and French Camp, with over 3,000 staff members. The role has a stated work shift of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applicants must submit the required documents through the online application; materials sent by mail, email, or fax will not be considered for online screening. If the employee does not already hold a Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential, they must apply for one upon employment. If hired, the employee must complete TB clearance and fingerprinting at their own expense.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or a related field from a regionally accredited college.
- Valid California Registered Nurse license.
- Apply for a Preliminary School Nurse Services Credential upon employment if one is not already held.
- Submit a letter of introduction, resume, at least two letters of recommendation, RN license, and a copy of any currently held credential with the online application.
- Complete TB clearance and fingerprinting at the employee's cost if hired.
Nice To Haves
- Three years of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
- Previous experience as a School Nurse is preferred but not required.
