About The Position
Saint Brigid of Kildare School is seeking a Part-time School Nurse for the 2026-2027 School Year. This position is one day per week, with an 8-hour workday.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and hold a valid license with the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Experience working with children
- Current satisfactory FBI and BCI background checks

- Catholic Preferred, Not Required
- Willingness to complete first aid and CPR training
- Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God's Children training
Responsibilities
- Administers first aid as needed and contacts parents of absent, ill or injured students
- Records clinic visits in appropriate log
- Provides clinic coverage
- Maintains immunization records and emergency medical authorization forms
- Maintains a list of students with health problems
- Prepares paperwork related to screenings
- Maintains student files and records
- Inventories clinic materials and supplies and secures appropriate equipment as needed during the day
- Keeps clinic clean and maintains adequate supplies
- Checks for lice when needed
- Attends health staff meetings when requested
- Performs other duties as assigned
