About The Position

Ocean Academy, in Bayville, NJ, is a small therapeutic school that offers educational services to students that need a more structured, nurturing environment to reach their academic and social goals. Our behavioral health school programs are designed to successfully transition students back to districts or to successfully complete graduation requirements. As part of Bright Harbor Healthcare, we work collaboratively with students, their families, and school districts to provide support and services.
Position Title: Substitute School Nurse (Job ID: 8096)
Position Type: Full Time; 10 month with option for summer

Requirements

• Substitute School Nurse or School Nurse Certification Required
• Valid NJ RN license

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment of children's health, monitor school environment for health and safety issues
• Provide on-going health counseling
• Engage with students
