About The Position

PASCO SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 1 is seeking a School Nurse for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a 1.0 FTE position, with the building assignment to be determined prior to the start of the school year. The salary will be based on the 2026-2027 Certificated Salary Schedule. New hires are conditional upon passing a fingerprint screening. The district is committed to student success and provides equal access to various youth groups. Requirements

Must be a registered nurse currently licensed with the State of Washington.
ESA required, or ability to obtain.
Ability to develop rapport and communicate well with students, parents, and staff.
Able to work independently and on own initiatives with interruptions.
Able to work flexible hours and make visits to migrant families as needed.
Able to provide own transportation.
Ability to follow safe work practices and procedures.

The candidate must also demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for working with all students.

Nice To Haves

BSN from an accredited nursing program
Two years of experience in public health nursing, preferably in a school district
Bilingual/Biliterate in English/Spanish
