District Nurse
About The Position
The School Nurse identifies students’ health needs, formulates plans of health care, and implements health care services, including providing primary care to students. The role also evaluates health care services and establishes screening programs for health problems such as vision and hearing concerns. The position reports to the Director of Exceptional Student Services. It is an exempt, certified role with a 185-day work calendar. Weld RE-4 School District offers benefit-eligible employees medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as other programs. Retirement plans are available to all employees regardless of hours worked and immediately upon hire. Paid leave depends on benefit eligibility and work calendar.
