About The Position

HealthPRO Pediatrics has an immediate need for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide short-term school-based coverage across two elementary schools in Washington State. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking to pick up additional hours, with the assignment projected through October and the possibility of extension through the end of the school year. This role involves overseeing Individual Health Plans, medication orders, and student health needs. Requirements

Active Washington State RN license in good standing
ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program ( ADN or BSN )
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently across two elementary school locations
Knowledge of Washington State RN scope of practice and school health requirements

Nice To Haves

School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
Experience managing Individual Health Plans (IHPs), medication administration, and student health needs preferred

Responsibilities

Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
