About The Position
BAYADA Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Nurse (LPN or LVN) to provide one-on-one care to school-aged pediatric clients (3 years old+) throughout Erie County for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This role offers the opportunity to develop ongoing relationships with clients and make a significant difference in their lives by ensuring they can be safely cared for at home. The position offers full-time or part-time availability and focuses on providing high-quality, in-home nursing care.
Requirements
- Active and current license to practice as a professional nurse (LPN or LVN)
- Ability to travel to cases as assigned
- A calm and reassuring presence, active listening skills, excellent assessment skills and strong written and verbal communication
- The ability to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability
Nice To Haves
- Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you.
- No experience working with children? No problem, we will train you!
Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest-quality care to pediatric clients (from birth through 18) with a variety of diagnoses
- Provide complex care including trach & vent management
- Provide family education
- Perform clinical assessments
- Provide nursing care according to care plan
- Administer medication, treatment, and therapy
