About The Position

JerseySTEM is looking for volunteers to support our mission to provide STEM education to underrepresented middle school girls. Help us stay connected with local middle schools. As a School Liaison, you’ll be the friendly point of contact between JerseySTEM and Public school staff helping us schedule programs and keep communication clear and easy. Great for former teachers, school staff, or anyone who enjoys community outreach.

Requirements

• Minimum six-month commitment of approximately six flexible hours per week.
• Ability to check email, forward emails, and answer questions by email.
• Ability to call school teachers.
• Ability to have 1:1 calls with manager.
• Ability to leave voice messages for school principals.

Responsibilities

• Leave voice messages for school principals regarding documents or meetings.
