About The Position

Kensington School is seeking an experienced and passionate School Director to lead one of its private preschools and join its growing leadership team. The Director will focus on creating an exceptional school experience, building meaningful relationships, developing the team, and cultivating a thriving school community. The role is supported by the Home Office in areas including Admissions, Payroll, Hiring, Curriculum, Maintenance, Publishing, IT, Purchasing, and Food Services. Directors work with experienced professionals in a collaborative, supportive culture and have resources and autonomy to bring ideas to life in thoughtfully designed school environments.

Requirements

• Meet or exceed Illinois DCFS Director qualification requirements.
• Previous leadership and administrative experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Creative, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Genuine passion for Early Childhood Education and commitment to providing exceptional experiences for children and families.
