About The Position
Kensington School is seeking an experienced and passionate Director in Training to lead one of its schools and join its growing leadership team. This is a leadership opportunity with a family-led organization focused on children, families, and staff. The role is supported by the Home Office in areas including Admissions, Payroll, Hiring, Curriculum, Maintenance, Publishing, IT, Purchasing, and Food Services, allowing school leaders to focus on relationships, team development, and building a thriving school community. Directors are supported by qualified professionals and have resources and flexibility to bring ideas to life in thoughtfully designed school environments.
Requirements
- Must meet or exceed Illinois DCFS Director qualification requirements.
- Previous leadership and administrative experience in a licensed childcare facility.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Genuine passion for Early Childhood Education and commitment to providing exceptional experiences for children and families.
