About The Position

Lead engaging after-school dance classes for students in grades K–5 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Create a fun, supportive environment where children can learn, express themselves, and thrive. Classes serve groups of 8–16 students ages 5–10 and run for 1–1.5 hours, starting between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Coaches work two or more days per week, for a maximum of 2–5 hours weekly. The role includes attending up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing, transporting and setting up necessary equipment, completing attendance and sign-in/sign-out procedures, communicating with parents and school staff, providing student progress feedback, and taking photos during sessions. Candidates must be local to the US or hold a valid work visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Requirements

• At least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoyment of working with children and effective classroom management skills.
• Flexibility, reliability, punctuality, and a professional, enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication skills and a resilient, positive attitude.
• Reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
• Must be local to the US or possess a valid work visa; visa assistance is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Previous dance teaching or performing experience is preferred but not required.
