School Dance Program Coach
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Dance Teacher to lead engaging dance classes for elementary school students at various schools across the Bay Area. The role helps children build confidence, coordination, and creativity through movement. Classes are generally 1–1.5 hours long and may start between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the listing describes approximately 2–5 hours of work weekly. The position is part-time and in person, with pay of $50–$65 per class. Candidates must be local to the US or already have the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance. Applicants must complete required employment screening and documentation and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Requirements
- At least 19 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enjoy working with children and managing a class.
- Be reliable, punctual, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Reliable transportation across assigned Bay Area locations.
- Able to complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
- Be local to the US or already have the necessary work visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Dance teaching or performance experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability for two or more days per week is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage classes of approximately 8–10 students ages 5–10 in grades K–5.
- Teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment.
- Attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program.
- Prepare and set up required equipment.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate with parents and school staff as needed and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
- Take session photos following program guidance.
