About The Position

Campus Services Group is seeking a School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment at its facilities. The custodian works with staff and students to help ensure the school meets high cleanliness standards. The position is located at 560 Sproul Road, Villanova, Pennsylvania 19085, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The pay rate is $16.00–$16.50 per hour. The location does not have access to public transportation.

The role involves janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas, including classrooms and common spaces. The employee is expected to follow safety and infection-control practices, complete assignments on schedule, respond to paging alerts and customer requests, and report supply or equipment needs and malfunctions. Employees must provide a criminal background check and comply with applicable COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Ability to complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift and carry, and push and pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customer requirements.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas in accordance with quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear during cleaning tasks.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment or cleaning-product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and other areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related assigned duties.
• Respond promptly to paging-system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection-control procedures and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
