About The Position

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment at its school facilities. The custodian works with staff and students to ensure high cleanliness standards, follows safety and infection-control procedures, and completes assigned cleaning tasks on schedule. The position is located at 560 Sproul Road, Villanova, PA 19085. Public transportation is not available at this location.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The pay rate is $16.00–$16.50 per hour. Training and support are provided. CSG describes career development opportunities and lists employee benefits, which may vary by location and eligibility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Ability to complete responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift and carry, and push and pull, a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies when required by state, local, or customer requirements.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas in accordance with quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear during cleaning tasks.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment or cleaning-product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related assigned duties.
• Respond promptly to paging-system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection-control procedures and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
