School Custodian – Byron Center Public Schools – Full-Time, 2nd Shift, 3pm-11:30pm
About The Position
GRBS, Inc. is hiring a dependable, hardworking School Custodian at Byron Center Public Schools. This is a full-time, second-shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with one weekend per month and 40 hours per week. The pay rate is $16.50–$17.00 per hour. The custodian maintains clean and safe school facilities by cleaning classrooms, common areas, and restrooms; handling floors, trash, and recycling; reporting maintenance and safety concerns; and assisting with event setup and cleanup as needed. The role also includes additional cleaning duties as assigned. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid ID required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Dependable and reliable, with consistent attendance.

- Detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Individuals with theft-, violence-, or drug-related backgrounds do not qualify for employment due to Michigan Public School requirements.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Dust and clean classrooms and common areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms.
- Empty trash and recycling.
- Maintain clean and safe school facilities.
- Report maintenance and safety concerns.
- Assist with event setup and cleanup as needed.
- Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned.
