About The Position

Campus Services Group (CSG) is seeking a dedicated School Custodian to maintain a clean and safe environment within its facilities. The custodian works with staff and students to help ensure the school meets high cleanliness standards. The position is located at 975 Westtown Rd, West Chester, PA 19382, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. The stated starting pay is $16.00 per hour, with a retention bonus described as additional compensation. This location does not have access to public transportation.

Requirements

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks consistently.
• Ability to complete all responsibilities without supervision after training.
• Punctuality and reliability for scheduled shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for 6–8 hours daily.
• Ability to lift and carry, and push and pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers.
• Must provide a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial and cleaning tasks in assigned areas according to quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Use protective gear during cleaning functions.
• Complete cleaning assignments on schedule.
• Report equipment or cleaning product needs and malfunctions to supervisors.
• Dust mop and damp mop floors in classrooms and common spaces.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, classrooms, and common areas.
• Remove trash, empty wastebaskets, and perform related assigned duties.
• Respond promptly to paging system alerts and customer requests.
• Follow infection control practices and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary environment.
