About The Position

Perform general cleaning duties in designated areas at a K-12 school, college, or university campus environment. The role is located at 6375 W. Charleston, Las Vegas, Nevada, and the listed shift is 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The pay rate is $13.52 per hour; the specific offer may vary based on experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data. No experience or degree is required, and on-the-job training is provided. This may be a good opportunity for someone entering or returning to the workforce. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
No experience is required; on-the-job training is provided.
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree is required.

Nice To Haves

Prior customer service experience.
One year of prior similar work experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain assigned areas, which may include classrooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, and stairways.
Sweep, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas.
Check trash receptacles regularly and empty them as needed.
Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Notify the lead cleaner or manager about the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
Collect, consolidate, and separate recycling into proper receptacles.
Clean and dust desks, chairs, tables, furniture, fixtures, doors, sills, floors, ceilings, and walls.
Polish hard surfaces such as woodwork and stainless-steel surfaces.
Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas.
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas, manually or with hand trucks.
Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
Maintain restroom cleanliness and clean and polish as needed.
Comply with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the company, clients, and regulatory authorities.
