About The Position

Become a Road Safety Hero that is held in very high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of our kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists. You’ll also grow to be a much-loved familiar face around the school with a unique opportunity to touch the lives of countless families. St Mark’s Primary School shifts fall between the school zone hours of 8:20 – 9:20AM and 2:45 – 3:45PM, Monday to Friday, with 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon. School Crossings require 20 hours of supervising per fortnight. You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will also be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age at the time of appointment.
• Reliable and prepared to show up in any weather.
• Effective communication skills.
• Alert to potential dangers.
• Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment.

Nice To Haves

• Already have a Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children crossing roads near a school.
