School Crossing Guard - Munster
About The Position
All City Management Services is hiring multiple School Crossing Guards throughout Munster, Indiana, to help support student safety. Crossing Guards help children travel safely to and from school while serving as a positive presence in the community. The position is part-time, with 30-minute shifts before and after school, Monday through Friday, following the local school calendar. Pay is $16.75 per hour plus bonus time. Candidates who work both assigned shifts receive additional paid bonus time, for total daily earnings of $33.50. Training and safety equipment are provided.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and observation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates living near the assigned school area may be best positioned to arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
- Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings.
- Monitor traffic flow and maintain safe crossing conditions.
- Remain attentive and alert throughout assigned shifts.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers.
- Follow all company safety procedures and training guidelines.
