About The Position

Under general supervision, responsible for ensuring the safe crossing of City streets for school students. This position involves work under the potential hazard of heavy traffic. The primary duties include reporting to the assigned crossing location at designated times, overseeing school students while monitoring traffic to identify a safe crossing opportunity, and physically occupying a crosswalk while school students cross the street. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • HazCom training is required within sixty (60) days of employment.
