Brookline School Crossing Guard (Part-Time)
About The Position
The Town of Brookline is hiring School Crossing Guards to help keep students safe on their way to and from school. This is a part-time, meaningful job for individuals who enjoy being outdoors, are reliable, and have strong people skills. As a Crossing Guard, you will safely guide children and families across busy streets, help ensure the smooth flow of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, and be a friendly, reassuring presence in your neighborhood. The schedule is 10 hours per week, with one hour in the morning and one hour in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, working during the school year (10 months).
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to learn local streets and follow traffic regulations
- Friendly, dependable, and able to work in all weather conditions
