About The Position

As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility. JOB DESCRIPTION: Ensures the safety of school children at assigned locations; creates safe gaps in traffic by using approved hand signals, signs, or by normal operation of traffic signals; performs related work as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position
• Knowledge of traffic regulations as they relate to the control of traffic and pedestrians
• Ability to work tactfully and effectively with school children, school personnel, vehicle operators, and the general public
