Under the direction of the School Principal, the School Counselor is responsible for providing supporting counseling individually and within a group setting to students. This role recognizes and supports the unique Catholic Mission of the school by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church. The counselor gives evidence of lived Gospel values by being an active member of a faith community and striving to model the teachings of Jesus by attitude and example. They help build the school’s faith community through participation in and planning of school religious and service activities, and set an example for students by personal adherence to Catholic Doctrine and principles of morality.
