This role involves preparing and cooking meals according to approved recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. The cook will be responsible for creating weekly menus that comply with Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) guidelines. Additionally, the position requires monitoring and maintaining food and supply inventory, supervising kitchen staff and volunteers, and hosting culinary cooking classes for families and youth, both in-person and virtually. The schedule is 25-30 hours per week, and the individual must be comfortable working with children. A background screening is required.
