Inductotherm Corp has an exciting opportunity for a School CO-OP to join our Team, onsite in Rancocas, New Jersey.
Requirements
- Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and working with fractions.
- Ability to read measuring devices - rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, calipers, and formulas.
- Must be responsible in the handling and care of equipment and tools.
- Mechanical aptitude – knowledge of various hardware components, including plumbing sizes and fittings.
- Familiar with reading and comprehend mechanical drawings and wiring schematics.
- Must disclose any surgical implants, pins, braces or other devices that could be affected by induction fields.
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with soldering, brazing and/or welding, preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work on bench assemblies, putting together components with hardware.
- Work under the close direction and supervision of senior experienced trades-craftsmen.
- Assist with the assurance of correct set-up of work.
- Utilize applicable measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and scales.
- Layout, measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on material according to drawings or templates, using calculators, scribes, dividers, squares, and rulers.
- Assist with rework, repair, and modification as directed.
- Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
- Perform general housekeeping as required.
- Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
