About The Position

This position is designed to provide high school students with an introduction to hotel operations across various departments such as the front desk, restaurants, room operations, and events. The role involves supporting operational needs, assisting guests and associates, and performing a variety of tasks to ensure memorable guest experiences. It serves as a short-term training opportunity to gain exposure to the hotel business and prepare for potential future full-time employment. Critical to success in this role are maintaining a safe workplace, adhering to company policies, punctuality, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional image through uniform, appearance, and communication. The role requires physical activity including standing, sitting, walking for extended periods, moving over various surfaces, managing check-in/check-out processes, and handling objects up to 25 pounds independently or 50 pounds with assistance, as well as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Requirements

  • Currently in high school or a high school program.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No specific licenses or certifications required.

  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
