About The Position

Cambridge-Isanti Schools is seeking School Bus Route Drivers. This position involves the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school and special events. Drivers typically work a split shift, with morning routes from approximately 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and afternoon routes from approximately 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., averaging about 5 hours per day. A $500 hiring incentive is available for eligible new employees.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid Minnesota license with clean driving record
• Successful completion of DOT physical exam
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a pre employment drug & alcohol screen
• Must be able to work split shift
• Skills and aptitude to operate a bus safely
• Enjoy the presence of children
• Be reliable and punctual
• Exemplifies compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty.

Nice To Haves

• No experience required - paid training provided to obtain necessary license and endorsements.
