About The Position

We are seeking qualified applicants for a School Bus Driver position on our Transportation team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team that supports the efforts of making success possible for all Redmond students. Prior experience not necessary. We will provide paid training to obtain your CDL.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain a CDL with paid training provided.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be able to maintain student discipline.
Must be able to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Must be able to follow traffic laws and district policies.

Nice To Haves

Prior bus driving experience is not necessary.

Responsibilities

Drive a school bus on assigned routes.
Transport students safely to and from school and other school-related activities.
Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transport.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus.
Maintain discipline on the bus.
Follow all traffic laws and district policies.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
