About The Position

Local Motion, LLC is seeking a full-time School Bus Driver to join their team. This position offers paid training for those without a CDL and a significant sign-on bonus for experienced CDL drivers with P & S endorsements. The role involves safely transporting students to and from school and events, performing vehicle inspections, and adhering to all traffic laws and district policies. Drivers will service routes within driving distance of their home location and will be part of a supportive, safety-first work environment.

Requirements

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain)
• Valid DOT medical card—or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Nice To Haves

• Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies
• Service a route at any location within driving distance of home location
