About The Position
Zūm is seeking passionate individuals to join their team and transform student transportation. As a School Bus Attendant, you will be vital in ensuring student safety and fostering a positive environment during school commutes. This is a safety-sensitive role, requiring you to care for and supervise students while the vehicle is in motion. Patience, attentiveness, and the ability to manage student behavior are key, as is supporting the bus driver's focus on safe operation.
Requirements
- This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Valid driver's license/identification card/work authorization
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass background checks and drug test
- Ability to work split shifts (AM/PM) daily

Responsibilities
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely
- Monitor student behavior and maintain order during transit
- Support students with special needs, including operating wheelchair lifts
- Assist with emergency evacuations and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with drivers, parents, and school staff
