About The Position
Teachers Now is hiring dependable and caring Bus Aides to help provide a safe and positive transportation experience for students. If you enjoy working with children and want a flexible opportunity to support local schools, we'd love to hear from you!
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a variety of situations
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist the bus driver in maintaining a safe, orderly, and respectful environment.
- Help students board and exit the bus safely.
- Monitor student behavior and encourage appropriate conduct during transportation.
- Assist students with special needs, when applicable.
- Communicate concerns or incidents to the bus driver and school staff.
- Help ensure all students arrive safely at their destinations.
