About The Position

At Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties, we're looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who are passionate about helping seniors live safely, independently, and comfortably in their own homes. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Reliable transportation (valid driver's license preferred)
Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we'll train the right person
Experience with Dementia or Parkinson's care is a plus

Responsibilities

Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
Helping with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
Performing light housekeeping and laundry
Offering medication reminders
Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition
Accurately documenting care provided
Communicating with clients, families, and our office team
Accompanying clients to appointments or running errands as needed
