About The Position

Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is currently seeking a full-time School-Based Therapist to add to our team of professionals. This position will work in our Child & Family Services Division and provide school-based assessments, therapy and other services to children and their families. This position is year-round.

Requirements

Master's Degree
temp LSW, LSW, LCSW, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMHC-A, or LMHC license
Valid driver's license
Auto insurance that meets the Indiana State minimum coverage requirement
Qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance
Pass required background checks including county/state checks, fingerprinting, CPS check, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, family and group therapy to children identified to be at-risk by their school.
Provide clinical assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment services in a school setting.
Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect patient progress and document treatment plans and goals.
Maintain documentation and submit reports according to established time frames.
Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies.
Conduct consultation and education activities to community and professional groups as needed.
Maintain contact with other service providers, community agencies, schools, and civic organizations to enhance community awareness and public relations.
