About The Position

Mercy Community Healthcare has an opening for a School-Based Therapist in Marshall County. We are looking for enthusiastic people with a passion for making a difference in the lives of those we serve in our community. As a school-based therapist you will provide therapy to clients within the school setting. Mercy's Mission: The mission of Mercy Community Healthcare is to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL and support to their families. We provide care to the uninsured, underinsured and insured through pediatric and adult primary care, mental and behavioral health services, and care coordination.

Requirements

• A master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or another related field.
• Fully licensed or temporary licensed in Tennessee as a LMFT, LCSW, LPC-MHSP, MMFT, LPC-MHSP (temp) or LMSW.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required.
• Above average organizational skills and attention to detail abilities required.
• Above average time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines required.
• Above average analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Basic Microsoft office skills required.

Nice To Haves

• Basic eCW skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Providing therapeutic individual and group counseling services for clients and their families in a school setting through assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and referral process.
• Respond to school crises with support of supervisor and administration team.
• Complete clinical documentation as required by the agency.
• Treat clients and co-workers with respect and promote an awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural backgrounds and needs of the clients served.
• Provide consultation and training to the school, administrators, and service providers with the support of SBT Leadership.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor as required.
