About The Position

Interim HealthCare is hiring PCAs Personal Care Aide's to be placed 1:1 with a students for the year 2026-2027. School Based Personal Care Aides PCAs are members of the interdisciplinary team who provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client’s condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting as evaluated/delegated and as permitted by the policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare and any other federal, state and local law or regulation.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must have six (6) months experience in relative field; behavioral health, pediatrics, etc.
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be willing to undergo Pre-Employment Screenings

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aide Certificate

Responsibilities

• Follow school policies and procedures
• Assist in keeping the client on task in a classroom setting
• Redirect when necessary in the case of disruption
• Assist with bathroom duties, if needed
• Ensure that the child is safe and not harming others
• Report observations or concerns to Interim supervisor
