Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active New Hampshire Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
- Current CPR certification
- Valid New Hampshire driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication skills, reliability, and a compassionate attitude
Nice To Haves
- Six months of caregiving or healthcare experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping
- Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assisting with errands, shopping, and transportation to appointments
- Helping with walking, transfers, mobility, and range-of-motion exercises
- Providing medication reminders
- Observing changes in a client's condition and communicating concerns to the care team
- Creating a safe, comfortable home environment
- Engaging clients in activities they enjoy, including games, reading, hobbies, and conversation
