About The Position

PRO Pediatric Services is seeking an exceptional Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services within a local intermediate unit for Extending School Year (ESY). This position is part-time and will involve working with a K-12, school-based caseload. The role goes beyond just analyzing data and writing reports; it's about being part of a supportive family where your growth and well-being are a priority.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License
Must have at least 1 year consecutive experience treating children and/or adolescents in an educational setting
Must be comfortable using a computer
Must be able to complete clinical documentation to school district standards
Current clearances (within 6 months)
Must have all clearances updated within the year

Responsibilities

Implement specialized therapy treatment in accordance with the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Administers occupational therapy assessments to determine a student’s level of functioning relative to their age and educational placement in a variety of areas
Analyze and interpret assessment data and facilitate the use of the data as a guide for operative instruction to improve student skills
Collaborates alongside a multidisciplinary team including special education staff, classroom teachers, and other service providers to ensure continuity and consistency in providing comprehensive services to students
Serves as a member of the school’s multidisciplinary team, IEP program team, and offer consultation and collaboration with school staff and parents in support of student’s goals
Completes, updates, and maintains required documentation
Perform other appropriate duties as assigned
