About The Position

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Full Time School-Based MCI Clinician to join their 24-hour emergency services team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to develop and sharpen clinical skills by evaluating individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and clinical presentations. The position is based at City of Newton Public Schools in the Newton community. Responsibilities include participating in the daily operation of MCI, such as telephone triage, crisis intervention (evaluation, stabilization, referral, and follow-up), and acting as a liaison with community providers for continuity of care. Orientation to MCI is provided, focusing on diagnosis, safety assessment, and resource awareness. Clinical supervision and collaboration with licensed senior clinicians are available. Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related human service field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Basic computer fluency including Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle

Nice To Haves

  • MSW, LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT encouraged to apply
  • Two years experience in the field of mental health preferred
  • Experience with children and knowledge of the youth system of care
