About The Position

Balance Point Wellness, LLC is an accredited community-based mental health and wellness organization serving individuals and families throughout Maryland. We provide mental health therapy and psychiatry services through community-based locations, Telehealth, and school-based programs. We are seeking qualified licensed therapists (LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCMFT, Psychologist, etc.) to provide mental health therapy services to children and adolescents in Baltimore County Public schools. This is a Mental Health Therapist position within the Baltimore County Public schools, not a Guidance Counselor position.

Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling is required.
Current Maryland licensure that authorizes the provision of mental health treatment.
Successful completion of a background check is required.
Strong organizational, time-management, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Nice To Haves

Previous psychotherapy experience in a community-based setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage an assigned caseload and provide ongoing individual mental health therapy.
Provide clinically appropriate therapy services to children and adolescents.
Complete psychosocial assessments.
Develop and update person-centered treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Complete timely contact notes and clinical documentation for all sessions.
Document all services through our cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Collaborate with school personnel, families, and other members of the treatment team as appropriate.
Provide services in accordance with professional standards and the needs of each student.
