School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide 1:1 nursing support for a high school student in Stafford Springs, CT for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves ensuring the student's safety, comfort, and access to educational activities. Responsibilities include managing complex health needs such as seizure protocols, medication administration, and the use of adaptive equipment. The LPN will also assist with physical care, including transfers and mobility, and collaborate with the educational team to facilitate the student's participation in school life.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid CPR, First Aid, and AED Certifications
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including the capability to safely lift and transfer up to 50 lbs.

- Prior experience in pediatric nursing, complex care management, or a school-based setting
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support to a high school student.
