About The Position
Prairie View is seeking a passionate Clinician to support the mental health and well-being of students at McPherson High School. As the dedicated clinician for McPherson High School, you will work directly on-site to provide evidence-based therapy. You’ll be the bridge between clinical care and the classroom, collaborating closely with teachers, counselors, and families.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Kansas behavioral health license (LMSC, LBSW, LPC, etc.).
- Ability to pass all state-mandated background checks, including KDADS, PRTF, and DCF (Adult and Child Abuse) registries.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy to adolescents within the school setting.
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Partner with school administrators and special education staff to support student needs.
- Manage your own schedule independently to meet the needs of your caseload.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate with utilization review.
