About The Position

Our school based case manager provides mental health services to children and adolescents as part of a community-based treatment team located within 1-2 schools. The position provides an opportunity for rewarding work with families in need of mental health support, consultation with dedicated colleagues, and many growth opportunities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or education/counseling from an accredited college or university.
Commitment to teamwork
Self-Starter, Independent
Time management and organizational skills are a must.
Excellent communication ability with co-workers, staff, clients, and community partners.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy.

Responsibilities

Case management, including an assessment of the needs of the child/adolescent and family
Collaborating with school staff and supporting the needs of students within a school atmosphere
Active collaboration with community providers and services
Using therapeutic skills
Consultation with medication providers, clinical staff
Developing treatment plans utilizing an electronic medical record
Supporting Summer Camps during the summer months
