School-based BHPs work one-on-one with children and adolescents within the public school setting to help achieve learning and development goals. Individual needs are assessed and based on the learner's behaviors, social skills, personal and daily routines, and self-care. Through the use of evidence-based practices and intervention, BHPs help foster a therapeutic and meaningful learning environment for students to grow and thrive with independence!
